The Ring..

So here are the long awaited pictures of the ring!  I love it so much! Landon picked it out! It is absolutely gorgeous. The cut of the diamond is called a trillion cut!

I love love love it!! 

This is the engagement and the wedding band together! 

I'm so excited! I love my ring and I LOVE LANDON! 

HE LIKED IT SO HE PUT A RING ON IT!

Guess what?

I'M ENGAGED! 

Landon asked me to marry him! and I said YES!

Here it goes.....

He had been setting this up for a while. I really wanted to get engaged and had been

feeling like I was in limbo- knowing that he was going to ask me (and then having to plan a wedding) but i still couldn't do much. No one really takes you seriously without a ring! Landon had been telling me for a while that he needed a month. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! A month! That is a long time. 

So on Thursday being frustrated and really wanting to go ring shopping (which Landon had previously said he didn't want to go with me) I asked Nikki if she would go with me. So we did. We went to two different places in Rexburg and I just couldn't stand it any longer. I called Landon and I told him how I felt. I was basically acting like a crazy person! He told me that I wasn't. Then he suggested that we go ring shopping together! YES! Finally! So in my mind we would go on Saturday look at rings, he would then have an idea of what I liked and then in maybe 2 weeks he would propose.

Friday morning- I text Landon tell him good morning and ask him how he is doing.

His reply is 'barf' (what the heck) so I asked him if he was grumpy and he said yes. I really wanted to know what was going on and if I could do anything to help him not be so grumpy. He then told me it was ok and he would just have to get over whatever was bothering him. UGH! So again I was frustrated. We didn't see each other all day. I got to work and at my desk there was a letter for me, from Landon! It was the most beautiful letter I have ever read! After that letter I knew he couldn't be so grumpy. 

Right at 5 o'clock Landon shows up to pick me up from work. He has already gone and gotten 2 happy meals and we were on our way to Porter Park. (side note I was wearing a skirt because I was planning on going to the temple to do baptisms for the dead that night) Landon parked the car and we both got out. In Rexburg, Idaho the first day of spring was the next day means nothing. It is defiantly still winter and freezing! We get out of the car and start walking. He didn't have a blanket and I was not going to sit on the grass! HELLO I was in a skirt and there was still snow on the ground! He told me we would find a bench to sit on and so we walked through some snow and past some pine trees. Right past the trees was a table set up all decked out- table cloth plates glasses beautiful flowers(my favorite daisies) the whole bit! I was so excited. 

I still didn't think that he was going to propose. I just thought what a great romantic date! So we were eating our happy meals and Landon finishes his and says "You know what my favorite part is? The toy." He reaches in his bag and pulls out his toy. I go to do the same and.........

No toy! What a rip off! Landon then asks me if I dropped it on the ground.... Um no I didn't drop it on the ground because I never saw the toy. But Landon starts to look under the table and so then (monkey see monkey do) I start looking too. All of a sudden when I look up he is in front of me on one knee holding the ring! AHHHHH!!! I was in total shock! I can't even remember what I did or said at that point. He then asked "Will you marry me?" and I said YES!!!


BEST DAY EVER!!!


I know that the title is he put a ring on it... well that ring was too big! I get it tomorrow though so pictures will follow! BTW it is gorgeous! He did fantastic! It is more than I could have imagined! I LOVE HIM!  

The Great Life!

I just wanted to write this post to let everyone know that I

 am dating the most awesome man ever! 

Landon and his roommates are on a dodge ball team.

Yesterday was the big tournament on campus and guess who the winners were?

Ya that is right... My boyfriend is a dodgeball Champ! 

Ya you know.... you're all jealous! 

So I am still not loving school! But on a happier note there are only

about 2 and a half weeks left! Wow... I will be so glad when it is over! 

But that also does mean that I have to look for a job!

And I need money!   BAD!!

ON another note (I'm not sure whether it will be good or bad) 

It is beautiful out side! The weather is fantastic! I love love love it! 

I haven't worn a coat all week! Spring is in the air! 

I want it to look like this out side!

I cannot wait! So what do you like to do in the spring time?

Here are my favorite things about Spring-

1. Green Grass

2. Blooming trees and flowers

3. Warm weather

4. Blue Skies

5. Sandals

6. Laying on the grass

7. Driving with the windows down.

8. Taking a walk (and not freezing to death)

9. Birds chirping

10. The sun shining! 

Can't the semester be over already.....

UGH! This semester keeps dragging on and on and on and on and on........ AHHHH! I mean technically there is only 4 weeks left! WHAT!?! 4 weeks! My goodness but it just seems it be dragging on and on and on and on...... 

But after the semester is over that means work.... or I guess looking for a job and then work. That is my least favorite thing to do! Looking for work! So this is kinda a shout out if any one knows of anything or anywhere that would be hiring and where I could start working in the middle of April that would be fantastic...

Ok enough complaining....

I love cheesy jokes!

 I'm pretty lucky because Landon is the best teller of cheesy jokes I have ever met in my whole entire life! They're good! And they always make me laugh! 

Laughing is great! You cannot laugh without smiling and you can't smile and not be happy!

So be happy, smile and laugh! 

Also my family (especially my crazy sisters) make me laugh! 

We have so much fun together! We joke around a lot and we love to have fun! Sometimes (ok most of the time) we are loud and probably very obnoxious but we are almost always smiling and laughing!

I love my life!
