Lately...

I've been much better at bringing my camera along lately. Here are some of the fun (and not so fun) things we have done.

I love this picture of us.. Don't we just look like the happiest people alive? Well we are! 

Don't be scared... this is what I look like when I weed whack... I'm allergic to all the dust flying in the air so I wear this pretty mask to keep from coughing.

Prayer Time

Sometimes we forget our couple prayer until after we are in bed.
This was the case last night.

We were laying in bed almost asleep when I remembered to pray.
Landon was practically asleep and it was his turn to pray.

So we kneel down and Landon starts to pray.

".... please bless the wildlife..."

After we ended the prayer he said, "I'm pretty sure I just blessed the wildlife."

Yep Landon you did!

I laughed for a good minuet..... He makes my life so good!

Date Night?

It's been a while... I know.

So tonight my love and I kinda had a date night.

Went out to Craigo's for pizza.

Went to K-Mart!

Bought a shredder.

Came home and proceeded to shred.... and searched the house for more paper to shred... and then shredded some more.

Yep it is my Landon's birthday! The big 2-3! We have had a very fun day! I decorated our living room, made a cake and the family came to Rexburg to have dinner with us! Sadly there are no picture of the fam but there are of Landon opening his presents! Enjoy! Have a great day!

Goings on... from forever ago

So this post is along time coming. I found these pictures on my camera and just up loaded and edited them.

Valentine's Day- This is what Landon did for me on Valentine's day. I came in the house and there were hearts in a path and this is what they said.

It was a great thing to come home to and I love that he made them himself. He is the best!

I also got glasses. Can you believe that I am 21 and have never been to the eye doctor. EVER. I know. It wasn't scary at all. It was pretty fun and I also didn't notice how much I didn't see. Here are my glasses.

Awkward....

So this guy stated sitting by me in class.. and talking and i'm pretty sure flirting... I'm married for heavens sake. Uh... what do I do!??! It is really weird. I wear my ring, and ugh how does he not know?
Tell me what to do... I'll probably do nothing.. unless it gets really bad.... or he asks me out. AHHH ok I just freaked out about that!

Exciting News

And no i'm not expecting...

JACK AND JACQUELINE HAD THEIR BABY YESTERDAY!
She is so beautiful and precious. Mom and baby are doing great! They named her Ellie Amaya! *squeel* I'm beyond excited about this child... for some unknown reason (maybe because I'm baby CRAZY baby, na that couldn't be it at all)

I saw these today-

Are't they so awesome. They are at this fun etsy shop! So I really want to buy them for Jack and Jacq. If you don't know Little Ellie is half Asian thanks to her dad! So cute!

There are so many babies around me. I for sure have bieber uh.. baby fever! I was hoping that as Jacqueline had her baby and as my SIL has hers that it would break my fever... nope didn't happen! It is burning hotter than ever... Wouldn't we just just have the cutest babies!

I would put up some baby pictures but i'm at school and I don't have any of Landon or me... that is kinda sad.. I'll get on it! 

Conclusion: I want a baby... but I won't be having anyone soon just so you know. Just be patient for a couple more years.

5 things

Ok so today I am going to do it... BLOG! I have had a blah week and I'm just really not excited for much, except Spring, but waking up to snow today isn't making that a reality any time soon. So here are 5 things

1. I want this-

So so so so, SO, SO bad!
 I have even made a savings plan to get it... 15 weeks and your all mine!

2. Does all of your make-up run out at the same time!? Mine does and yesterday I bought all new
make-up... I feel pretty today!

3. When something goes down at work and you are not there but you get little hints of what happend on Facebook but still don't know what it is? Isn't that the worst? Yeah I'm really curious

4. 6 more weeks of school! Wow... yeah i'm ready for it to look like this outside. Look at that green grass.

and I wish I could do a cartwheel too! Cuz I can't... that's my lovely sister Aleesa!

5. My best friend Camille is going on a mission! Yep she is leaving in less than a month! Sunday she is giving her last talk in church before she leaves! I love her! And she is going to be a fabulous missionary!

Well that was kinda fun... maybe I'll get back into the swing of posting.... just maybe

Hey everyone! Wow this last week I haven't been very good at updating the blog...

the weekend

This weekend was pretty fun! I really wish though that I had been able to sleep in on at least one day.

Sunday was the superbowl and Landon decided to invite some friends over and we had a little party! It was our first get together in our apartment. We are slackers, I know. We have been married for almost 7 months and have not had a get together at our apartment. Here are the pictures from last night.

Crafting goodness

So there have been so many wonderful wreaths on those fabulous craft blogs out there! So I decided that I would create one of my own. We are a newly wed couple and students and that = no money. I am proud to say that this craft didn't cost me any money. I used an old box to cut out the circle and fabrics, ribbon and one of Landon's old shirts and made all of these great little rosettes! It was so fun and I love how it looks!

Courage

I was doing what I do best (blog surfing... pathetic I realize) and I happened upon this blog
Be Different... Act Normal. And I found this video about life, venerability and courage. This women, Brene Brown, has spent years researching people and the way they live to come to this conclusion. I know that it is long (about 20 minuets) but if you do have the time please watch it.  I know that when you watch this you may think "I already knew this" or "Ya ya... it isn't that simple" but I say to you, maybe it is that simple.
To just stop.
To love deeper.
To start today to let the world know the real you, all the imperfections and scars.

I don't talk from experience but I say this as someone who is struggling to find out who I am. To let myself be seen. To breakdown those walls and let others in. It is hard. I'm not really sure how to do it but I'm going to keep trying. I know that now at this moment, I have a better understanding of myself. I can look into my life and say "Yeah, I see it. I can fix that." I have courage.

Life... and other news

So if you haven't noticed I have been having a rough time having any motivation to blog. I go in spurts it seems like. One month I'm on fire and the next I have nothing interesting to write about. I have been overwhelmed lately with school, work, money and life. This has been a rough semester so far in terms of scheduling. I have work everyday, some days 10 hours a day, and trying to fit in school has got me a little stressed. But I am doing better this week in controlling what I can control and letting the rest go.

In other news, one of the greatest little stores in Rexburg call Panache is having a great giveaway on their blog! Isn't this necklace just cute as can be?! Panache is a fabulous place to shop. They get shipments in multiple times a week and their prices are just perfect for the college student's budget! 

It's the NEW YEAR!!

Resolutions anybody?

I thought it would be a good idea to do a little self evaluation and to make some goals. And why not its the beginning of a new year.... So here they are -
