Engagements..... and 60 days!!!!

Oh the joys of being a mother....

Ok... I know I am not even married yet! (69 days by the way :) and that would create a problem since I have no children and am not yet a mother but this week my mother has been gone and so that makes me the replacement mom for the week. So I have had a lot of fun doing everything from waking up everyone early for scripture study, picking up from scouts, taking to basketball, cooking dinner, getting scared in the middle of the night... and so on. Wow all I have to say is THANK YOU to my mother. She is amazing! I don't know how she does it. I am pretty tiered and spent from this week physically and emotionally. 

I am so grateful for my mom and all that she has done and continues to do for me everyday.

 I love you mom!

Wedding... wedding... wedding

I bet you can't guess what I am going to write about?!? Wedding... how did you know?

So tomorrow I am going to go check out a couple of dress places in Rexburg with my mom and sisters! I'm pretty excited! I also made an appointment at Gowns by Pamela for Monday. Gowns by Pamela is a wedding dress shop where you can rent your wedding dress and it is also custom to you. And believe it or not my mother rented her wedding gown from gowns by pamela 22 years ago?! Crazy I know.

I am really excited about all this wedding stuff. Yesterday Landon, my mom and I went over to our neighbors house where we are holding the reception to check it out and get some ideas for planning. It is going to be so beautiful. I will just be glad when there is no snow and it is semi green outside.

End of the semester... beginning of job search

So my semester is over... thank goodness! I had my last final today at 2pm! I'm so revealed. But with the end of one thing comes the beginning of another.... searching for a job! Yeah! 

And so starts the craziness! 

I've been searching online for potential jobs all day and have some good prospects. I'll spend tomorrow calling and applying to see what I can get. I did get a call back from an application that I sent in yesterday but they won't be able to use me until the beginning or middle of May.. yuck! I need a job now!

I keep having thoughts of the horror that last summer was! AHHHHH the nightmare. I searched and search for so long and never got anywhere I wanted to be! That will not happen to me this summer. It just can't. I need a job... well the money that comes with a job! Getting married is putting a big whole in my pocketbook! :(

Money.. Money... Money, must be funny.. In a rich man's world!

P.S. I am engaged to the most wonderful man! He is so sweet to me. I have been sick all week and he has been taking care of me and helping me with studying for my finals and all that jazz! I love him so much and am so grateful to have him in my life! I cannot wait to be his wife! (yay for love ;)

100 Days!!

So sadly enough I am already counting down the days until Landon and I get married! 100 and counting! Wow... so I have only been engaged for 14 days but July 10th can't get here fast enough! 

Also the wedding planning has begun..... and the more I think about it the more overwhelmed I get! 

But I am super excited about it all! I love Landon so much! He is my best friend and I cannot wait

to spend forever with him! 

So wedding planning.... My colors are blue and green with yellow purple cream and brown (ya I know that seems like a lot of colors but just trust me!) Landon says it sounds fruity! Whatever, it will be fabulous!

Well it is almost the end of Thursday which means that tomorrow is FRIDAY! Yay for the weekend!
